Attention Truck Owners and Truck Racing Fans, on May 23rd and 24th Thunderhill Park will be the site for the first Rendall-Reilly Pride and Polish for the most beautiful big-rigs in the world. The Northern California happening will also be the first-ever Champ Truck road racing event featuring big-rig tractors. The two-day’s of non-stop action is the talk of the trucking world because it is the first combination of the popular Pride and Polish show with actual big-rig road racing.
Top truck racers from all over the world will travel to Willows to practice and race on Saturday and then again on Sunday leading up to the big-money final “Podium race” on Sunday afternoon starting at 3pm. Truck racing has appeared on television, mostly from England, making this second USA appearance all the more interesting to truckers and race fans far and wide. The Pride and Polish has been going on for a number of years and has been known to attract upwards of 100 trucks. The event at Thunderhill has been limited to the best forty or so million-dollar cab-overs. Think diesel.
